The Socrates Cafe of Fort Lauderdale is dedicated to creating a safe, fun, and stimulating space where people can help each other to think clearly about important issues using the Socratic Methods of dialog to help deepen our understanding of our own thoughts and of the thoughts of others. It is a place where the hope is that each soul will help another soul to develop in their search for and discovery of truth.

We plan to always have a time for food, discussion, and activities which we think will aid our fellowship as thinkers and enrich our discussion. Every meeting will have grapes, cheese, tea, and coffee to refresh and help in our discussion. Members will help determine topics and directions for the group.
